TRADITIONAL COASTAL KITCHEN
Project
In this home, we were asked to take a 20 year old kitchen and update it for modern entertaining and living. Re-working the layout and updating the finishes and functional elements allowed for better flow and storage solutions. New custom window treatments add a layer of polish to the updated space. Along the way, we also revamped the powder room with a beautiful wallpaper and freshened the first floor with new paint and lighting.
Inspiration
At our first meeting we were smitten with the client's collection of vintage chinoiserie vases. The palette emerged from there as classic blue and white, but softened up a bit so it could still appeal to potential future buyers down the road.
Client
Empty nesters looking to refresh their long-time home, this lovely duo was looking for an updated kitchen where they could entertain family and friends. They also wanted to keep an eye towards near-future resale considerations.
