NEW CONSTRUCTION MODERN FARMHOUSE
Project
Construction on this new home broke ground while our clients were still living out-of-state, in Colorado. The aim was to have construction completed prior to their relocation for a smooth transition for everyone. The Two Hands team was the eyes and ears on the job site. With lots of FaceTime calls to keep the family involved in the process and make decisions together, plus a few packed weekend visits for design selections and walkthroughs, our clients were able to build their home almost completely remotely.
Inspiration
Our lucky clients had already amassed quite the amazing collection of original art. In their new home, the aim was to create a neutral but cozy space that allowed the art to shine. Their Colorado roots also had them craving a bit of rusticity - so natural woods and rich materials were used in key places for texture and warmth in a more transitional architectural style.
Client
As an active family with a toddler and two lovable pooches, durability and comfort were key requests for their new home. Working in the music industry, our clients also owned a fair amount of bold, fun and funky concert prints that we made a home for, as well. Ultimately warm and casual in their interpersonal vibe, we worked to create a home that reflected their family, their interests and their style.
