We were thrilled to support the design of Blackberry Market’s third location in Oak Brook. These projects are near and dear to our hearts, as their flagship cafe/coffeehouse is a stone’s throw from our offices in Glen Ellyn and one of the team’s favorite coffee/lunch/cinnamon roll spots. (If you know, you know!) As with many commercial projects, we were working on an ambitious timeline to get across the finish line.

Inspiration

In each of these locations, (and Oak Brook is no different!), we’ve worked to design a space that feels very on-brand for Blackberry while giving each spot unique elements that fit the personality of each brick-and-mortar. With this location so near outdoor shopping at Oak Brook Center, our client Anna wanted a spot filled with natural light that would feel as refreshing to shoppers in search of some caffeine courage pre-shop or a refuel post-shop, as well as to commuters, families, groups of friends, remote workers and more!
